Nothing much going on today. I ordered some stuff from Amazon. I am most waiting for my Cast Iron Cover for my beloved cast iron pan. I love this thing. It's just amazing how well it cooks. It needs prolly another 6 months to season, but I can picture using it well into my old age. Until Kari kills me by hitting me over the head with it. Luckily since she's a girl, she says she can't lift it, which is fine by me. the lid will help out when I make stirfry.

Hmmmm, what else. Ash is finally starting to lose her ever present ear gunk. She has ear mites and they cause this like dark brown wax to appear in her ears. So every night, I take a pair of Kari's pajama pants, wrap her up so only her head sticks out and put this ear wash stuff in. I massage her ears and then either let her shake her head, or i put a cotton ball in there to absorb the wash and also get some wax out. Then I follow up with more cotton till I'm sure i got out what I could. Then I let her go, hold her till she calms down, and then let her go. She usually runs away, but comes back, follwoed by her sister S'mores, who sits there and licks her ears. And Ash get's this whole "yoda ears" thing goin on, and just like sends out hate rays at me. I know she doesn't like i, but I think deep down she knows it's helping her. So last night she shook her head and this huge piece of wax came out, like as big as my pinkie fingernail. And then when i was cotton balling her other ear, I pulled another one out. I feel so bad for her.

Other than that, I'm cruisin good today.
