Hello all,

OK, it's been awhile again, but that's my fault. Work's been hectic. The final day is coming up soon, and I will have to admit, I will miss it. Of course, I won't miss the two hour commute each way and getting up at 4:30am. Hopefully my new job will be closer.

In other news, Ash is still preggers. She grows my the day. In talking with my cousins, they said that if they are young, they have less kittens, so I'm expecting about a litter of 3-4 kittens. While Kari hope Ash mis-carries(she's evil), I just want her to be safe as well as her kittens. A week after she pops, I'm gonna move her into the house to raise the little buggers until we wean them and can get her spayed. Then everyone will go outside to enjoy the farm life. I know people say they should all be inside cats, but I honestly can't look at Ash or Zippo lounging in the sun rolling on the ground and say that they would be happier indoors. As soon as the birth happens, I will try and post pictures. I just hope she doesn't hide the kittens too well.

This weekend was action packed with chores and activities. I took Friday off so that I could get my muffler fixed and also so that Kari and I could get a consultation for Huck. The muffler was fixed pretty cheap and my car sounds so much better. Huck's meeting went well, so we went to pick up my car, got lunch, and then did some running around till we were both near passing out. We got lunch and Kari also had her interview with Target. I went to Lowe’s and got some drywall anchors and some other items we needed to fix up Kari's office. It looks good now. Luckily my neighbor let me borrow his stud finder so we managed to hang some things w/o drywall anchors. Of course, there still were some errors. For one, it said there were some studs where there were not. Also, my walls were a lot thinner than I thought they were, which is evidenced by the two holes on the other side of the wall.

Saturday we woke up, got coffee, hit Harbor Freight, and then went to lunch with my mother and her life partner, Helen. Kari had a rip-roaring good time, and afterwards, we got some flowers for my aunts for Easter, and then went to catch a movie. We saw Scary Movie 4. After that, Kari managed to spend under $100 at Old Navy. We went home and fed up, watched Lindsey Lohan's breasts in Herbie:Fully Loaded, and crashed around 11.

Sunday Kari started up the horses and woke me up around 9:30. I helped her as best as I could and then we got ready for Auntie's. It was the usual love fest for Kari as my family loves her. We left and she went home to pack up. She left, I cried, she cried, and then I fed.

OK, I've hit the writers wall. So that's it for now. Nighters.

Hello all,

Just thought I send you all a little update as to where I am. As you all may be aware, on 1/1/06 Bank of America officially bought my employer MBNA. Unlike MBNA, Bank of America does not use in house personal to do their facility maintienance. They use an outside vendor. We recently had our interviews, and on Friday, I received my decision letter. Unfortuntally, I will NOT be hired by the new company. So when Bank Of America does their conversion, I will be let go. I'd like to say I'm upset, but would do no good to be that way. I'm just gonna have to accept it, and try to move on to newer and better things. I'd like to get a job closer to home of course. I travel two hours a day EACH way as it is, so a shorter commute(maybe 30 minutes) would be a great relief. I have a few places in mind I wouldn’t mind trying out. Public Utilities are always an option. And my Dad partner in horses says his company may have some openings. Every cloud has a silver lining so they say. But anyway.....

Sunday was good except for the damn daylight savings switch. I got the same amount of sleep, but I went to bed later because my body thought it was 10 instead of 11. Kari mucked out the stalls and I did some fixing up. After Kari left, I brought Huck to Petco for his discount shots. He was pretty good. I put his Gentle Leader on just in case, but except for one big pull to smell a Yorkie, he just rolled around and rubbed his face on anyone who would let him to make it seem like I abuse him. I kind of got pissed at people who thought it was a muzzle, because if you look at the thing, he was opening his mouth. Morons. His shots were over in about 3 minutes and he was a champ. I brought him home and expected him to drop like the kittens did, but I didn't notice any weakness or fatigue. Cleaned around the house a little and did some laundry. Talked to my baby for a little while, and then it was bed for me and Stinky.

Saturday Kari and I woke up, and started out on a day of fun and adventure. We woke up, saw the old man, and got showered to do our chores. We got coffee, and started off towards Target so that Kari could submit her app. I tried to get my prescription filled, but they had some problems due to a bad birthdate. After that, I went to Lowes to compare some prices for some things I needed to complete Kari's office. We went to Checkers for lunch and after the rain started, I ran into The Depot, checked some more prices, and then we went home. We fed, and Kari went out for fun in the sun with Ken and Warped Tour Danielle. I went back to target to get my drugs, and then back to Lowes for tools. Came home around 8 and watched some TV and transferred the leftover paint from Kari's office to smaller cans so they won't dry out. We crashed soon after she got home, and that led to Sunday.

Friday is the day I learned about the lack of re-hiring. I took an earlier train and went to Shop-Rite to get Kari a big cookie. Came home, made dinner, watched TV, stood in awe of the cleaning job Kari did (should have gotten b4 and after photos), then it was bedtime with a "happy ending".

The rest of the week before that was pretty un-eventful. OK, time to let Stinky out and take the morning train.

Nothing much today. Last night I got some stuff done round the homestead. I actually threw out all my current sponges and replaced them all. For me that is a big step. I mean, yeah, I have literally 30 sponges under my counter and Kari can back me up on this, but I find it so had to part with them. I also worked on my lawn mower and brought it back up to speed. I even took it out for a round around one of the paddocks. Maybe I'll go out Saturday and get some more stuff done.

Don't know. I defiantly have to go back to Target and I also have to hit the pet store for Huck Chow. He's getting real low. And he's been so good lately, I don't want him to run out. The Cat could run out and I wouldn't care, cuz she has no shame and doesn't even have the guts to take a punishment. I also have to run to HarborFreight to pick up some stuff for me to play with like a tool belt so I can look the part when I try to fix things, a clamp so I can fix the chairs in the kitchen so we can have guests, I saw a terrific drop light I think I would like to have round the house for when I have to repair stuff out of the way. I also saw a 250 lb pull retrieving magnet. Maybe I can like throw it off bridges and try to retrieve stuff. Hmmmmmm. I also would like to bodge a lighting system for the mower so I could try and do a night mow if I have to.

I was perusing the web today and I happened to see one of the most amazing things in the world. Apparently woman are not happy with themselves or our ability to urinate standing up. So an enterprising person(s) decided to solve this problem AND also be environmentally friendly. And thus, the P-Mate was born. Modern technology, wave of the future.

And I wish I could get this song chorus out of my head. Damn Fall out boy.

We're going down down in an earlier round
and Sugar we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted. I was going to post the other night, but after looking at it, I decided against it. So what has been up? On Saturday, I got some stuff done round the house. I went to Harbor Freight to pick up some tools that I have been wanting. I also picked up some apple butter for Kari in addition to her pineapple and apple pie preserves. I also picked her mom up some peach reserves and butter, some orange cranberry marmalade, and some red raspberry preserves. I put together this cool rolling seat and I went to fix the mower AGAIN. and of course, it was missing pieces. So I had to go out to Lowes to get the pieces, but I didn't feel like going out early, so I stuck around the house and did some things. I cooked some dinner, and then fed the horses, then tried to accomplish some cleaning around the homestead. Now that Kari is gone, I can put a dent in the cleaning that still has to be done round the house that I have been putting off. I prepped the car for an early take off and went to bed very tired.

Sunday I woke up early, got a fill up and then got my coffee and gahlic bagel fix. Drove down to Clementon, picked up some more coffee for Mr. D and Mrs. M and myself. I also found the nail causing the slow leak in my tire, and surprised my girl by being early. After everyone showed up, we departed for Rowan. We did a little musical parking spaces and FINALLY unloaded all of Kari's stuff. Of course, Kari didn't like the way her room was set up and being the original person she is, decided to copy off of Danielle and Meredith. Unfortunately, after moving some stuff around, I discovered that their room was a little different than Kari’s in that they had an extra foot along one wall. So I moved some stuff around some more and finally got it in a way that Kari liked and we hoped Magenta would like. Unfortunately, she never showed up while I was there, so they were left to do any minor adjustments. I started off home and of course hit traffic. I creeped along for about 3/4 of the length I was on the turnpike for. On the plus side, I saw a cellphone on the side of the road, and I stopped to pick it up. It still kinda worked and there were some interesting pictures on it to say the least. I got back home, fixed myself some grub, fed the horses, and crashed.

Woke up Monday and did the usual work thing. Nothing really extra ordinary. Went home, got my lunch supplies plus a few other things(like marrow bones, but don't tell Huck. I wait until it's cooler to give them to him so they don't go bad). Got back to the house and of course the AC was down. Went downstairs to check and when I touched the circuit panel, sparks flew. Literally. I shut down the power, removed the panel and the circuit breaker for the AC was literally fried and baked. Removed it, and went back upstairs to swelter. Made some ham and cheese sandwiches and then cleaned some more.

Woke up today, and it's been a pretty uneventful day also. Have to get gas tonight and maybe some other stuff if I think about it. Got the new circuit breaker from above, so hopefully It will get replaced soon. maybe tonight if I feel adventurous. I think I'm gonna make some beef stirfry for the rest of the week.

OK, I think that this makes up for the lack of post. Hope everyone has a good one.
