Mythbusters
so tonight, I came home with all expectations to work on my new hard drive and clean up. But after I get home, I notice some patrol cars flying by, then an ambulance. I look out my window, and they are all gathering on the side road to my house. Fearing that a horse may have been hit, I throw some shoes on and head out. By the time I got from my house to the corner road, there was three patrol cars there, a fire truck on it's way, an ambulance, and a lot of fire dept vehicles. I deduce in the end that someone drove up the side road, through my neighbors Bills fence, and almost into his pool. About ten minutes has passed, and my phone rings, and it's my neighbor Bob. I let him know what I see, and after I hang up w/him, call my old neighbor Glenn, to warn him to avoid the side road. While I'm talking to him, I describe the car, and he goes "My cousin Michael's wife drives a black Lexus SUV." He doesn't know the license plate number, but he goes to call his cousin. While he's doing that, I ask and find out that yes, the drivers a woman, and she apparently has a piece of wood in her head. I call back Glenn, and he lets me know it is his cousin's wife. He drives over with Gillian and Glenn V, and I watch them while he talk to his cousin. In the end, they landed a helicopter in my neighbors back yard, and air lifted her to the hospital.

Why did I tell you this story? B/c for a good amount of time, Michael was standing behind a fence while they worked on his wife 30 feet away. I give him supreme credit for that. I know I would have clear jumped that fence and no amount of police would have been able to hold me back if someone I loved was in a car hurt. I probably would try to rip the car open with my bare hands. I also felt a little scared. I know how frustrating/helpless you feel when someone you love very much is hurt/ill, and you can't do anything about it. I can't imagine what he was going through.

So, if you pray, please include Michael's wife, Cami, in your prayers. She seemed stable from what I gathered, but the removal is the most dangerous part.
